Rebecca Medvecky graduated with high honors from Florida Institute of Technology with a B.S. Oceanography. After graduation, Rebecca worked for the Naval Oceanographic Office in Mississippi. Currently she is a graduate student at Florida Institute of Technology. Driven by a volunteer spirit, Rebecca's service to her community has been recognized by the President's volunteer award.
Melissa Steinman graduated with honors from Florida Institute of Technology with a B.S. Oceanography/ Marine and Environmental Science. Eight years of active and reserve service in the U.S. Coast Guard fostered a deep connection to the ocean for Melissa. A deployment to the Naval Station at Guantanamo Bay introduced Melissa to the children who live in this isolated location. These kids inspired the first program for A-B-Sea Foundation, Inc.
